xxxlabradorxxx
I'm using the Geometric Dog Mask Mesh model from GTA Online Diamond Casino heist. If dropped from the player's inventory, the in-world model (LabMaskGO) will appear in-game fully textured on the floor. However, the mask is invisible every time I try equipping it. From what I can only assume, I'm not adequately joining the armature from the bone groups to the mesh. Or do I need to sufficiently add weights to the vertex groups? I have been using blender mainly, but I also tried to solve the issue using Nifskope and BodySlide Outfit Studio. But using the latter two causes more problems than just exporting the 3d file as a .nif from blender.
ChuckYufarley
I've used this Outfit Studio tutorial for converting helmets and masks and it worked for me. Where is your mesh positioned and centered? It's been a while since I've done this, but I'm pretty sure this tutorial assumes the mesh is positioned on the head, but centered to 0,0,0. If your mesh isn't configured this way, when you equip it, it could either be underground or up in the air, depending on where the mesh is positioned and centered when you export it.
