no matter what i do my game always has missing textures when it comes to modding. IM using obmm and i just tell it to auto install so i dont see whats the problem.

for example when i try to run the lost spires or dwemor skyship the archeaology guild is full of the big yellow ! signs which mean missing textures. the dwemor skyship is entirely missing.

please help. just cant do this.

also how do you install obse. i need it for deadly reflex.

Yellow exclamation marks are missing meshes. Try installing them by hand. I've never had a problem doing it this way.

Copy obse_1_1.dll, obse_1_2.dll, obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_0.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, and obse_loader.exe to your Oblivion directory.

Run oblivion by running obse_loader.exe from the Oblivion directory.

Scripts written with these new commands must be written via the TESConstructionSet launched with obse_loader. Open a command prompt window, navigate to your oblivion install folder, and type "obse_loader -editor". The normal editor can open plugins with these extended scripts fine, it just can't recompile them and it will give errors if you try.

To make things easier, it is recommended that you create a shortcut to obse_loader.exe with the argument already supplied

note: With OBSE installed you must launch Oblivion from the OBSE desktop icon!

I'm with Azir - It's best to install manually. It is not difficult and

the knowledge gained from the experience will help heaps in future.

OBMM is still invaluable for other purposes. Load order, archive invalidation etc.

Also - Always read the read me. The read me for OBSE is quite clear as to what

you have to do.

If you are only using OBSE to run mods and do not need it for your own mod

creation then you don't even have to do all the fancy stuff Dez mentioned.

You can simply create a desktop shortcut from the - OBSE loader -

Then you can change the icon to the Oblivion one. (right click - properties....)
