i would like the official versions of tribunal and blood moon on the original version of morrowind but to keep the same masters. is it possible to convert them to an esp form or would it be easier to make a single esm out of the lot?

ps. i know that it can run the regular way by just putting them in the folder and ticking them in morrowind. but i am trying to make them so that i have only one master file.

I can't see how this will serve much of a purpose -- all of your plugins with Morrowind.esm listed as the only dependency will still work if you have Tribunal.esm and Bloodmoon.esm present and accounted for. If that's not why you want to do this, then post the reason, because, whatever accomplish, there's likely going to be a much easier way to accomplish it.

Besides that, the overwhelming majority of plugins requiring Tribunal or Bloodmoon will break if you do this. For a plugin with ESM dependencies to work correctly, you need not only the raw data referenced, but also the files referenced. As an example, if a plugin lists something called UBAR_MONKEE_NINJAR_MOD.ESM as a dependency because it referenced UBAR_MONKEE_NINJAR, Morrowind will print an error and exit if you don't have UBAR_MONKEE_NINJAR_MOD.ESM within the Data Files folder (and listed in Morrowind.ini), regardless of whether or not another data file provides UBAR_MONKEE_NINJAR.

If you really want to go through with this, the tool you'll need is TESDTK (main package, Java runtimes [required]).
