Frodric
ok one way to do this is to load Oblivion Mod Manager up and you can right click and delete the ones you want. The other is to open your Bethesda\oblivion\data folder and right click and delete them from there.

bben46
If you want to git rid of a mod completely the place is the /data folder. If you use OMODS, its easy, just use OBMM to disable the OMOD and that will remove everything associated with that mod out of the /data folder. If you do not use the OMOD format, it is more difficult. If you want to keep the mod around for possible later use. It's best if you kept the original downloaded zip file somewhere (NOT in your /data folder) Mine are in a separate Z:/downloads/games/ObDownloads folder on a separate drive that I use for backups. If you don't have the original zipped file, then make a new folder - again OUTSIDE of Oblivion/data. make a subfolder for that mod. MOVE the esp for that mod into it. You are not finished yet! The mod probably has texture and mesh files hidden away in the /data/textures and /data/meshes folders. If you are lucky, they are in a folder with the mod's name inside the textures and meshes folders. Again, MOVE these into the new folder you made. If you are not lucky, you will have to figure out which of dozens of .dds and .nif files belong to that mod and move each one individually. If the mod includes sounds, music animations, bsa files , move them also. Now, hopefully you got it all.
