deagos
So I'm at the start of my journey of making my own mods, and decided to start that journey with creating some kind of clothes pack, but I'm in need of some help. I scoured the internet trying to figure out how to import my models into Skyrim and actually got the first model to work in game. I spent literal days trying to get it to work without much help. Now I'm on the second piece and I'm running into the same problem. Further, I don't remember how I fixed it and I'm hesistant to go through the whole process again. There's actually very little tutorials I could find through google on how to do this stuff. Any help would be appreciated and the link to the project files will be linked below. This model is obviously mainly for testing and nothing else. Not much effort put into it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MXjNWeNhPtiKKub7vmxM8a2JYHSmz9vG/view
deagos
I'm mainly just asking for resources on how to do this process, but the main problem I've encountered is the model is invisible. Usually the body underneath shows but my own model doesn't show. I've been using a different CBBE model than the one I use in-game to debug, so I can definitely see the change on equip. The body does change, so it has to be something from the creation method. Maybe textures? Weights?
Hanaisse
Hello, I've taken a look at your armor and even tested it in my game, and it works just fine. So somewhere along the line you've made a mistake, most likely in the creation of your armor in the CK. Invisible parts usually is a result of incorrect partition to body slot matches. Your mesh uses 3 partitions: Body, Calves and Forearms, so you must select those body slots in the ArmorAddon record of your dress. The Armor record only requires the Body slot. There's a tutorial here on creating armor, see section on adding armor to the CK.
deagos
Of course, it was the simplest solution... it always is. Here I was going through Nifskope, redoing textures and bone weights. Thank you, and I definitely feel stupid. Really appreciate it.
