Drakan The Ancients Gates mod

Back in early 2001 Factor5 and Surreal software developed the second Drakan titled The Ancient's Gates

 

I'm sure most of you have either played or heard about it. For PS2 it was the absolute best RPG and fantasy adventure game of it's kind.

If you have played it than you allready know the layout of Surdana and the great gates. The mod would be big with a lot of new enemies such as Grull, Wartok, Half men, Bone Dragons, etc. The mod would use most meshes and textures and could take advantage of "Saiden Storms Flying Dragon mod" as Earok and the other dragons eliminating possable the most dificault part of it.

What i'm saying is you kinda have to own the game to understand what i'm talking about and reference the landscape.

Not exactly. Even considering that there aren't meshes for most of those creatures, the most difficult part is often just making the worldspaces, interiors, dungeons. Even though some things, particularly flying creatures don't work (a scripted, dragon mount doesn't count), and most of the dungeon statics would need to be made from scratch, the most difficult part would be just building such a large world and putting it all together in the CS. When you're talking about a mod containing a several dozen interiors, and several worldspaces containing hundreds of cells that would need to be manually finished, this is no simple mod.
