FNV BSA Decompressor Failure

Currently following github instructions for Utilities - Viva New Vegas. Everything is saved on an SSD outside default Windows folders and ModOrganizer is closed. When I run the BSA exe, it starts off okay but then get the following (followed by a second similar error message except instead it is for "bsa.textures"):

 

error occurred processing file: meshes\characters\head\female\headoldfemale.nif

 

I have scoured the internet and tried extracting the files and running them from multiple places but I cannot get the decompressor to finish. Anyone run into this before or able to assist? Would greatly appreciate it. Windows 10, Steam.
