VonHelton
I have a problem....... I made a ceiling light for Fallout 4. It works great in the game, but there is a VERY noticble gap between the lamp post & ceiling. Any ideas on how to fix it would be appreciated!!
84Cronos
How did you make the ceiling light? A kitbash in the CK? A new model in Max? A new model in Blender? More information would be helpful. The solution itself should be quite easy: Adjust the pivot point of your light.

If you try the origin.... moving it down moves the placement upwards Edited November 4, 2022 by greekrage

ROFLMAO! Gotta love Bethesda......
84Cronos
You can either go into your prefered 3D program and adjust the pivot point there or you can kind of "cheat" and do it quick and dirty and use a StaticCollectionPivotDummy. Align your light correctly with the sealing, put the StaticCollectionPivotDummy to where you want your light to be attached to the ceiling and then select your light and the dummy and right click and hit "Make static collection", enter a name for it and voila, you have a SCOL of your light with a new pivot point. VonHelton
Rotate the autoplace snappoint by 90° along the Y axis. Sounds good. I'll give it a try on some ceiling fans & let you know if it worked.
