holding down loading screen

Once you start adding mods to the game I promise you those loading times will be plenty long and you'll be able to read everything with time to spare. You'll soon need mods to make the loading times faster again.

I do not know of any scripts that would make the loading times longer. The only way to really make the loading screen longer is mod the game.Fastest way to do this is with graphic mods like ENB, Flora overhaul, 2k textures and whatnot. Won't make the gameplay change at all, just make it look way better and give you the result of longer load times.

^ you may be right but I intended to first play and finish the game unmodded

I'm not really looking for a way to make the loading time longer, just a way to manually hold/skip the loading screens so I can read their content, it's funny nobody thought of that before, I'm sure even at release there were already computers fast enough to load it in a second or two, especially without the official hires texture pack

i have the same problem. i love the loading screens and the art work, and i wanna read and look at them, but its just way to fast. ive been searching all over the web for a mod but every thread i read, its just a bunch of people getting mad that some people have fast computers, and saying the tips dont matter, or flat out saying the loading screens suck and there stupid. just for once i wish someone would either point out a mod, or just say honestly no, there is no solution.

So, even as the pre-coronovirus era has passed there still is no solution? Computers doesn't getting slower you know, while art and immersion value of loading screens being somewhat important parts of the game, furthermore considering custom ones. I wonder if it is so troublesome to implement a "press space to continue" function, especially when SE modding community here on nexus seems to flourish in it's second wind.
