Actually the original idea was to make a seperate unique faction.

With quests and battles.But thats too much work and scripting.

Wouldn't it be more realistic to have the NCR be the North Koreans? they control everything, and it seems like factions like the Legion would fit more as the Wolverines. (Mainly because of the bomb attacks on areas, attacking supply routes, cripping the NCR, etc.

 

I know the Legion are portrayed more as the bad guys (which I think is stupid), but rebels aren't always the good guys. :P

I agree, the legion arent great guys.

 

However the NCR is a lot worse. At least the Legion can defend their citizens. What happened at nipton was pretty bad, but it seems like the ncr can't defend anything and their citizens are miserable. Just look at sloan and boulder city. THey're slums. I dont have much experience with mods, so i feel that i know a lot about the vanilla game. I think that the legion was misrepresented, because if yu look at the wiki youll see that their ideals arent really that bad. Theyre supposed to be 'the bad guys' but playing through the game made me feel like the NCR was a lot worse (not because of morals, just because of false promises.)
