morganiter
Hello, I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, but there seems to be a problem when using London, UK and London, UK 2 servers on the Mod Manager. When I was downloading skyrim mods (multiple mods), I noticed that there was a tendency on london servers to stop downloading and display an Incomplete status. It only happens on London servers, I don't know if it is from having multiple connections or if it's just the server. It's fine either way for me, it's just a minor inconvenience when downloading large files since you have to constatly resume the download. Just reporting the issue. Thanks.EDIT: *facepalm* Fail title, meant Nexus instead of Nenus. Edited November 20, 2013 by morganiter
GrizzlyUK
Similar things happen with manual downloads from both of the London, UK servers, especially with large file size downloads. The download speed starts well but then begins to slow down gradually until it either seems to freeze or it will suddenly complete the remaining download way too quickly leading to an "invalid archive" that requires you to download the file again! I've found that pausing the download every so often for a few seconds and then resuming will help to keep the download speed fairly reasonable and prevents the sudden completion of the download that results in an "invalid archive". RuaDragonheart
I've been noticing this lately too. Something's definitely wrong with the UK servers. What's pissing me off though is that my NMM client seems to have a total hard-on for them and I can't get it to bloody well download anything from any other server. EDIT: Case in point. I tried downloading SMIM for Skyrim, and finally it put me on a Salt Lake City server to download from. I minimize the program, and eventually it flashed on the start bar to notify me it was beginning the download. I bring the program back up--and it had somehow defaulted to the bloody London server. While I'm not an NMM user I've seen others saying this can be done. I'm still getting problems with both of the London, UK servers. :( I've now started using the American servers for large file downloads, simply because the two London servers are currently so unreliable!
