t3hf4ll0ut
Okay, so I just got done building my computer today, and everything worked fine from the get-go. The OS installed fine, and Vista worked like a charm. I tried connecting to the internet, but realized I need to update my motherboard drivers. So I did. In the middle of the Motherboard Installation (It was loading the files) my computer froze. It kind of scared me, but I turned it off and decided to pull it out of the desk it was in because it was big and barely fit, and was hard to access the buttons etc. I pulled it out, and turned it back on to find the Monitor was not picking the computer up. It would just go into sleep mode and stay there. I unplugged all of the cords going from the computer to the monitor and plugged it back in. Still nothing. The computer sounds fine. Everything runs the way it did before, its just the monitor won't pick it up. The last thing I want to hear is something fried, so give me some suggestions... bben46
It sounds like you may have lost your video drivers. If you have an install or recovery CD try that.
t3hf4ll0ut
Your a life saver! I tried it again, but instead of installing all of what came with the Motherboard CD, I just installed the drivers I needed, and now I have my computer. Thank you to all who have truely helped me complete this computer! I will post up my killer specs later.
