floggingmolly22
Quick (hopefully) question regarding signatures:I had someone make an image for my signature awhile ago, but have had no success in actually making it my signature. I have it saved to a file on my computer. How would I go about making it my sig? :thanks:
AzirAphale001
You need to upload the image to the internet (I use ImageShack). Then go to 'My Controls -> Edit Signature'. Click on the 'Insert Image' tag (the photo frame), enter the address of your image and click 'OK'.
floggingmolly22
:yucky: I have no programs with which to upload images to the internet.... Crap. Oh well, thank you for the quick response.
dezdimona
Sig's can only be 450w x 300h pixels in size...this includes TEXT and PICTURES. For text, thats about 8 lines max. Max file size 110kb, this doesn't leave much for animation.
LoginToDownload
You don't need a program to upload pictures to the internet. You just need a free account on an image-sharing website like ImageShack or Photobucket.
floggingmolly22
Thanks for the info Dezi and Login. Unfortunately, I use a shared computer, and the other users don't like me making accounts for things like that. I'll look into it though.
AzirAphale001
In that case just upload it to the Nexus ImageShare section.
wasder
Tinypic doesn't require an account.
Sniperwhere
http://www.imageox.com/http://www.imageshack.com/http://www.photobucket.com/ Use any of those sites to upload the image. And just to be safe, to make the image appear, use the following: [img= <Image URL> ] To find the Image's url, right click the image, choose properties, and copy the location. floggingmolly22
Is tinypic a reliable (or safe) site? No viruses or hacking stuff from uploading an image?
