Problem With The Unofficial SI Patch

I was looking at the version history for the Unofficial SI Patch and noticed this fix: "Game Mechanics Fixes

Fixed the map marker for the door to Cyrodiil in the Ordered Fringe having an Ayleid Ruin icon, whereas in the unordered Fringe it was a landmark icon"

I wonder if making that fix is what caused the map marker for the Gardens of Flesh and Bone to not be there when using the USIP.

I'd like to try something, of somebody could give me a copy of the USIP v1.3.0.

found 1.2

Well, the problem is solved. I got a solution to the problem from Arthmoor over on the Bethesda forums.

Here it is for anyone who's interested:

1. Use the CS. Load the USIP plugin, make your way over to the SEFringe worldspace, then move the display there until you get to the Gardens and can find the map marker. Once there, you need to edit the map marker and change a checkbox that is marked "Set enable state to opposite of parent" and then save the file.

*OR* (easier by far)

2. Use TES4Edit. Load the USIP file into tes4edit, search for 00013171. You should get a display on the right pane with the map marker. If you ctrl-click on where it says XPGardensMapMarker [REFR:00013171] on the RIGHT side, you should be sitting on the item on the left pane. At that point you should be able to right-click on it from the left pane and tell it to remove the marker. That will undo the edit made and restore it's original function. Exit the program, and save when prompted.

I've yet to see any ill effects form making the above change to the patch, so perhaps what the makers of the patch did to cause the map marker for The Gardens of Flesh and Bone disappear was just an unintentional error on their part that was just never caught.
