EA says no SecuRom DRM on Dragon Age: Origins

Nobody likes to have DRM software on their PCs.

 

EA and Bioware in this article states that Dragon Age: Origins will not have any SecuRom DRM, and it will not have any online verification for offline play.

 

Even if you normally don't play RPGs, I think you would agree that this is a smart move on EA and Bioware's part. I certainly appreciate their decision.

EA ... doing smart things?! That'd explain the cold weather we've been having here... hell must have frozen over :P

 

Now all they need to do is stop breaking everything when they patch, then I'll start loving them :)

Thats good news, finally a company that cares lol, anyway im looking forward to the dead space pc release, even though i have it for the ps3 :biggrin: . Good game.
