TVSet

Although the TV is clean, the screen is still cracked, the only way i managed to make it not cracked was to edit the normal map and remove the cracked screen from alpha channel, the only thing now is that the screen isnt shiny anymore. :confused:

Both tvs look broken in light because they both use the same normal map. The tv in tranquility lane is the same, the lighting there makes the normal map not show up as much.

the only way to fix this is to change the normal map.

I have only the vanilla tx textures.

 

The shinyness is controlled by the alpha channel in the normal map and/or a separate specular map.

Hey, yea i think i got the one in the middle! how do i get the "modified" one? i dont care if it isnt shiny, i just want the fixed one.... soo frustrating to not be able to upload my vault mod cause the tv is broken lol :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:

Here you have it! and its shiny now lol, fixed the texture.

to add to GECK go to the object window then World Objects>Static>Furniture>Suburban then right click in the list select new, add the model and press ok, there you have it, now you just need to place it, oh yeh, don't forget to give it an ID, you can leave all else as it is :biggrin:
