-=FoW=- Greenteeth
I am not allowed to have games with blood (I know its pathetic) , so I got Morrowind and edited all the monsters so they have metal sparks instead of red blood, but there are a ton of NPCs, and you cannot edit multiple NPCs at once. I learned that I could take the metal sparks blood texture off the TES:CS CD and copy it to my Morrowind/Data Files/ Textures folder and did so, but the game still has blood on the NPCs I haven't edited. Why doesn't this work?
caldera_modshop
You probably left the blood texture in. Besides, they don't bleed that much!
Hermy2
Heh, yea. Its true, in fact, i don't think they even have blood! (How do they carry the oxygen to their cells?) Heh, it would be cool though, you attack an npc, and sparks come out!
-=FoW=- Greenteeth
There is no blood texture in my textures folder, the only one in there is Land_default. I added in the metal spark one and renamed it the same as the normal blood texture (Tx_blood) because I was told it would replace it in the game. Now I'm still confused. caldera_modshop
I FOUND HOW YOU DO IT!!! Go into the Morrowind Configuration Settings File (the one with the yellow cog in the corner) Keep scrolling down until you find the bit about the Blood Textures (Blood, Skeleton, Metal Sparks) and just change the blood one to the texture next to Metal Sparks!
