BossDweebe
I'm with Oruboris -The three days does not seem to always apply. I have found that most of the time things left out doors will remain. My jail clothes stay on the ground outside the castle for a very long time, but when I left a weapon outside the door of the stables at Bravil it wasgone in hours. That's why I found the comment on an NPC picking up a mace illuminating. Shields I left to decorate the outside of my IC waterfront shack stay, probably because I own the property. This is also true of owned chest. I have never lost contents of an owned chest. You do also have to be sure of leaving things outside on "sold ground" lest they sink into "Oblivion" when you turn your back. I have never lost an item left indoors in such places as the fighters guild when left on a bed or the floor, but I won't trust the chest. Especially if adding or removing a mod.I also leave piles of loot in the caves (only within the three day limit), but have only rarely lost anything there - probably fell through the floor. Oruboris
Might be a fun experiment to duplicate [say] 10 daedric daggers, scatter them on the floor of a crowded tavern, cast a strong frenzy spell and see how many get picked up. Wish I'd taken notice of the weapons the NPC who stole my mace had in his inventory when I tried to pickpocket him. Would be nice to know if he took it because he had no other weapon, or just because my amber mace did better damage...
orctor
The thing about that the cell respawns and remove all stuff is not true at least not on my game 0.oI'm always leaving crap outside dungeons and such then when i return like 5 days later i can still find them there. A friend of mine always let things lie outside a special dungeon cuz he didn't have a house and they were always there he could be gone for a long time and come back and see that they were still there.
