Holstered weapons as armor attachments?

Since this is my first post on this fourm let me start by saying hello to you all.

 

So here's the deal. ive been getting into some light editing of Fo3 to, of course, make it more enjoyable. and ive seen a few recent mods that add sheathed swords and daggers along with other addons for your char (3efWander's gear mod for example). but recently this led me to try to get my own holstered pistol mod working through nifscope. not a pistol holster. but, a pistol that is part of your armor and is equipped along with it for purely looks. i mean even tho i dont have it in my hand if still like to see it hanging off my character somehere ;)

any help with this would be appreciated, and i hope i explained my self well enough to get the point across.

 

Ps - sorry if this has been done/awnsered already. i searched best i could and didnt find similair mods or subjects.
