Ranokoa
Hey.. anyone out there currently reading this.. i have a few people that have SOMEHOW found out the site address to Project Oblivion and are constantly, but not always, looking at the website. It is not even gone live yet, the site shall not be reveiled for the meantime, and yet somehow there are 1 or two guests looking at the site. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?! This has been confusing me for soooo long. How can someone who does not know the site address of a website never before been told know the website name and look at it? AAAHHHHH hyper

AAAHHHHH hyperUsually these are bots. This is why it is usually a good idea to force people to log in to view the forum until you get things together. Once it's all together, you might want to restrict posting to only registered members for a few months so as to reduce the chance of having a few dozen posts a day for adverts. Ranokoa
When it was made i ensured the only thing you can see is "Guest Announcements" "Guest Chat" and "What is Project Oblivion" just the bare essentials of information and accesibility of what people need to see to understand the project without a leak of unwanted information. Only thing people that arent registered can do is find out what it is and apply. Plus all applications are validated manually. I took good example from The Colored Rooms. Thanks for telling me about this, it was driving me nuts lol.
