Is it safe to slightly modify a plugin that requires Skse?

Hi :)! I´m familiar with "normal" use of the Creation Kit.

But I`d like to do some small changes for personal use to Npcs in a mod that requires Skse... (mod= The Pocket Empire builder. ) Propably just change a few names to my likes or tweak some faces a bit...

 

Can I load the mod in the CK as usual and make my changes to the npcs without the Skse scripts being disturbed?

Or do I somehow have to load the CK via Skse- if so , could not find any info anywhere on how to do that?

Should be safe, only recompiling the scripts would cause problems if you haven't installed the SKSE source scripts. But if the plugin uses any code fragments on perks, quests or dialogue then you might have problems editing those specific ones. Editing NPCs should be completely safe though.
