I know some people like mods that only go with the fallout lore but this is just a fun idea i had

 

being a long time comic book fan, i thought wouldnt it be awesome to be able to dress up as some of your favorite super heroes in the wasteland and even have some or all of their powers?

 

being more of a marvel comics fan, some ideas i had were; iron man, captain america, black panther, wolverine, etc

maybe even a batman costume with some of the gadgets

 

specific ideas i had to go along with the costumes would be like

 

caps shield which throws and comes back like a boomerang when thrown normally but actually richochets off multiple targets in vats, iron mans gloves could be like a weapon on their own, basically a hand that shoots laser blasts or something more, and maybe stat boosts for each costume that somewhat reflect the abilities of each super hero they represent

 

 

super mutant hulk mod anyone?

 

im always open to formulate the idea more if it sounds interesting enough

Cool idea for a mod, but lacking reason. I would like to make a note of a few things:

 

1. Boomerang Shield, impossible, well maybe not impossible, but definatly improbable, it requires custom Animation, and thats hard to do, best we have got is reloading animation, no one will make this.

 

2. The Iron Man glove, also improbable, they can be made to shoot lasers, but again the animation would have to be like your punching with your fists, cannot do it any other way, animation reasons again.

 

3. You didn't specifically say this, but it will be going around in yours and our heads when we think of super heroes: flying. DO NOT ASK FOR IT!!! Its damn right impossible cos of the STUPID invisible roof thing. Also, most of super hero abilities that I can think of are impossible in game, things like spider man's web slinging, or The Hulk's ability to run through walls (you would just fall through the cell!) are impossible or beyond modders reach, Bethseda Soft could make it them selves, but we cannot. However, you can have a super jump, but cos of the STUPID ROOF, you won't fall back to earth so right.

 

Theres my input.

 

The most your gonna get from this mod is costumes, nothing more.

 

Still, I'm all for Costumes, but I'm a scripter, not a moddler.

costumes then, with possible stat modifiers, plus obvious things like iron mans armor offering high DR while caps clothes would maybe increase things like running speed and agility but offer little DR

 

batman with gadgets isnt that far off, assuming the gadgets rely on existing animations.

 

Grappling hook to the top of tenpenny tower anyone?

theres already a superman power armor, and iron man suit. just search 'ironman' or 'superman' you can have hi speed like the flash, and all you need is his suit. for the iron man laser hand, theres a arm gun mod out, it doesnt punch but it covers the hand ( it looks bad azz) just search 'arm'

ironman armor isnt there, saw it a long time ago but it was a WIP, superman armor is a retex, it looks kool but id like to find it seperately as its own armor, plus im looking for actual costumes not power armor retexes.

 

 

plus everyone you mentioned is DC.... forgive me but id rather have a cap costume as opposed to most dc characters.

 

batman is ok, flash is fine too but thats about it.

 

 

plus you could incorporate a bit of backstory, like finding caps suit in an underground military lab, with a super soldier serum that you can take that boosts stats.

but by all means, im open to DC characters too, just not as colorful and diverse in my mind, except the watchmen crew maybe. but if someone makes a flash mod by all means ill download it

 

seen the rorschach one by the way....

 

anywho, if someone can even teach me how to make textures or w/e id even be willing to try it

What i'm hoping to find is a version of the old Captain America's suit. the shield isnt needed, but the serum idea is kool.
