xrebirth Simple Mod, Is it Possible?

Hey there space pilots!, I'm just wondering, as an 'Immersive' player, if its possible to make a mod to make the Platform keyboard key for 'walking' a toggle rather than a press and hold kinda monkey busssiness. I'm no experienced modder so i've no idea if this is doable, it just seems a little silly that i have to hold myself back from running like some smartie fueled ADHD child, I've google searched and a few folks have complained about it, myself included but i guess in fairness its not high on egosofts list of priorities, so i thought i'd give the ever-reliable nexus crew a try!
