charwo
I'm looking for a user interface similar to JAVM for New Vegas: I tried porting it with FO3Edit and it crashed on activation. What I want is a user interface that highlights loose items, and highlights containers with loot in them. Can someone recommend a mod that does that? charwo
Yup. That one. It's wonderful to see everything highlighted, and its a time saver too.
luthienanarion
Change the ESM master from Fallout3.esm to FalloutNV.esm, then open and save each of the mod's scripts in the GECK and save it. The converted mod works like a charm.
charwo
I changed the master file via FO3 edit, and it loaded fine. Trying to activate it it causes a CTD. Can you describe the geck operation? That's probably where my problem is.
luthienanarion
Open the plugin as the active file in the GECK, expand the Miscellaneous group, and select the Script subgroup. The first 10 scripts in the object window will be from your JAVM ESP and the count column should read "0 *" for them. If the asterix is missing, your plugin is not set as the active file.Double-click the first one to open the script editor, then click the second button on the menu bar to compile and save the script, then close the script editor window.Repeat for the other 9 scripts, then save the plugin and close the GECK.
