GreybeardRanger
Recently I've noticed that for reasons I can not figure out, SkyrimSE/AE seems to be, well....eating my saves. When it started I was able to located them by selecting " All Saves", but now even that isn't working. I have no idea what's causing this or what to do to fix it. anjenthedog
If you mean that you're not generating as many saves as before, it's possible that you set an ini value or added a mod so that incidental saves aren't made (ex: many disable cell change auto saves and saves on idle. Many even suggest only saving manually to reduce savefile footprint). However, as to literally "game deletes my save files", I'm not an expert, but I don't know of anything in Skyrim "vanilla" that would auto-delete a save file. In fact, if anything, the game is by default more inclined to make more saves rather than fewer. There may be mods that offer such behavior. I vaguely recall seeing something in passing... I vaguely recall seeing something in passing...hmm, hadn't thought that it could be because of a mod. Guess it's time to start the process of disabling them one at a time and see if that fixes it.
