Pyroteknics
Been working on a small mod to make the Nuka World raider objects (Pick Me Up Station, Booze Still and Tribute Chest) buildable in normal settlements and improve the items they generate and has simply been a case of removing certain conditions (wasteland warlord perk, outpost only etc), modifying existing leveled item lists linked to them and seems to be working fine except the Booze Still. The changes work fine in outposts. With the removal of raider condition checks, the Booze Still can be built in normal settlements as well as outposts but in settlements they don't generate resources even after waiting some amount of time elsewhere and coming back. Settlers are/can be assigned to it normally. I can't see anything left over from the objects referencing raiders or perks but did notice the Booze Still is the only object of the 3 to reference a quest (DLC04WorkshopParent) referenced in the Booze Still leveled list (DLC04WorkshopProduceBooze) and this quest, under scripts tab, has a massive script attached called dlc04:dlc04workshopparentscript but hesitant to change any of these values as this quest is used in a lot of other places. Is there a 'clean' way to get the Booze Still to work in settlements?
Blinxys
Generally the maxim of modding (here) is "make a copy of the original to modify".In a case like this there is not reason to vary from that norm. In my sidequest to knowledge and adventure is the mission to promote relevant items discovered in the community to the community. This is one such occasion... Check out:Fallout 4 Mining System It is a (re)usable framework for settlement production. The companion mod: Useful Chemist Is a proof of Concept (POC), and does precisely what you are attempting with chems instead of booze.(Which would render the mechanical dependencies on the DLC script/quest negligibleat best). (I say this having recently noted the chem station's resemblance to a still, and the amount of alcohol in the wasteland, and the Bobrov's Moonshine, and I came to wonder)...Well then, where is their still hidden? (I smell another side-quest coming on here)... And when you are done with that...The same subsystem can be used to go fishing with: Basic Fishing :woot:(Why limit yerself, right)?
