New unmarked locations?

I've found one: Hank's Electrica Supply, in the building immedialtly west of the Jury Street Metro. To be sure I hadn't just missed it previously I loaded up the game without Broken Steel and it wasn't there. Anyone else have anything new to add?

Was wandering around the wastes last night (kinda aimlessly) just seeing what I could find,

when I came across a Raider camp (a little south of Fort Bannister i think) after clearing them

out I found a brotherhood of steel knight captive in a raider tent, after talking with him I learned that

he had been sent by the Citadel because of the Talon Company raiding the water caravan supply.

Upon releasing him he tells me that their base of operations is close, and takes me to a sewer entrance

(near Fort Bannister I believe) where there were a few other brotherhood knights waiting, after clearing out

most of the talon company, I find their commander, (Commander Jacobs) something like that.. holed up in a

room launching rockets with a turret helping him out. Not sure if anyone else has encountered this, but it was

definitely one of the few quests I actually enjoyed in Fallout 3.

Another cool random thing that happened, I was walking by a house when I heard Eden on the radio

(thought he was broadcasting from Raven Rock?) talking about how the Brotherhood now controls Project Purity

and how the enclave were about to launch an assault on it, So thinking id fast travel to Jefferson memorial and find

nothing, I was pleasantly surprised to find about 7-8 enclave fighting the rivet city security and water caravans.

(This all took place after completing Broken Steel)

off topic:

Well, if you reverse pickpocketing and give Power Armors to caravan guards, the game crashes.

on topic:

Not a place but a random encounter. I was traveling to TT to buy some ammo from Gustavo when I saw a water caravan attacked by raiders just near the front gate. I wanted to be nice and lend a hand, but it appeared that more raiders were hidden in nearby ruins, also a white (non-aggro) wastelander started to shoot at caravan guards (those were BoS, not Rivet City guards like usual). I could've saved the ammo, they had no problems dispatching like 6-8 raiders.

Thanks for that vileintent, I found a new Talon camp in Seward Square NW. They had a tape explaining their presence due to the purifier.

Unfortunately, Fort Bannister isn't a new location. It's been there in the vanilla game.

I don't have Broken Steel but I have Jacob's loot all over me. (he was the only HUMAN with decent loot; okay he was the only decent HUMAN BOSS character with decent loot...)

True enough about Jacob but I've never found any tents or hostages south of Fort Bannister. Now that I've checked the wiki it seems the tents are the ones IN Fort Bannister or what I'd consider the fort's compound and it would seem that the hostage scenario isn't availible if you've cleaned out the fort prior to Broken Steel even though the above ground Talon's respawn.

Yeah, the location isn't new. But the new hostage scenario isn't exactly vanilla either I guess...

^ Thanks for pointing that out

It would seem Beth just added a small scripted event having to do with Broken Steel to an already existing location..

Unfortunately I had to reinstall F3, so i'll be searching again once BS is installed
