Warlord_1011
I want a Greeting what leads to a topic selection, allowing the player to trade with the NPC. However if i edit Yeah, Hey there, and What do you need? greetings so that the topic then is available to be chosen, it will show up on every NPC what uses that paticular greeting. This lead me to dupelicate them, however i want them to load the same audio files from the Fallout3.esm files instead of Fallout3/Data/Sounds/Vault104.esp/Sounds etc without duplicating the audio files (to keep download file size down). I need to know how i can change the directory the files are loaded from, to the same as the default game. Is it possible to do this in FO3 editor or the GECK?? BadPenney
If you ever figure out how to do it I would love to know. The problem is that whenever you create a new piece of dialogue, the GECK assigns it a unique Voice Filename, which refers to the quest it is in and the name you gave the dialogue in that quest. The original file has a different Voice Filename and I know of no way to make x = y in this case. If you were somehow able to do it, I would expect many crashes rather than smooth operation from FO3's unforgiving code.
