Transparency problem on mesh/transparent around different parts of a texture

So, I modified/made a restored version of KiCHo666/KaneWright's army truck wreck using blender 2.49b and split it into two types: one with the canvas frame and one that's just a plain flatbed. I also made a bunch of different retextures for them as well.

 

But when I put them into the game world, there's a bunch of transparency problems:

 

There's transparency around (or even inside) the different insignias/markings of the trucks, and it's really noticeable in game,

 

The hinge thingies on the bed walls are also affected by this. (most noticeable on the truck with the yellow USA text on it)

 

And the window frame on the flatbed versions is completely transparent, as well.
