williamgillam713
When I try to install a mod I get C:\Users\ADMIN\Documents\BioWAre\DragonAgeAddIns\_merged.dazip\SettingsAddIns.xml
theskymoves
What mod is it (name and link, if it's a released mod), and what installer method (DAupdater, DAO ModManager, DAModder, Vortex, NMM, MO2...?) are you using? Have you successfully installed other DAzip mods? (And if so, how ere they installed?) Edited December 1, 2022 by theskymoves
williamgillam713
I was using Vortex for all my mods I used the three collections and some other mods as well. I don't remember all of them but. I'm sure I broke the game with how many I was using
theskymoves
There have been many anecdotal reports of Vortex corrupting the DAO addins.xml file, and even replacing it with a copy that only includes the last installed mod. Hence it is not regarded as a good choice, when modding DAO. I usually recommend using either the daupdater.exe utility provided by Bioware, or a more reliable and tested manager, such as DAO ModManager, but that's not gogin to be an option for one of the insta-collections, which, I believe are dependent on Vortex.
