Broken Steel Related Crash

Not sure why I'm having this problem but here goes. After having the following mods installed for a while and working fine, once leveling up to level 21 the game freezes on perk selection. Now I've tried a reinstall to no avail. Any ideas? Is it a conflict? A little FO3Edit work needed?

Your save might be corrupted. You can get exactly this problem due to a corrupted save game. If that's the case you have to roll back to a save that's not corrupted.

 

Avoid overwriting saves, apparently it happens when saves are overwritten a lot.

 

Should easily be able to rule out mods by just turning them all of, start the game, make a new save and then try to level.

New information. Just tried going back to an older save. When I try to save this one after just loading it. I get a crash! WTF! I don't want to start again for the fifth time without finishing the game!

Pre-1.5 there has always been problems with leveling past level 20 if you have max negative karma, might also be the case with max positive. Patch 1.5 fixed that issue (at the same time breaking a whole ton of other things).

 

Try using the console command

 

If you have max negative karma:

rewardkarma 100

 

or

 

If you have max positive karma:

rewardkarma -100
