anodomini Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 :wallbash: oblivion starts up fine, i just recently reinstalled it because i had too many mods and it got really screwed up, but i click on the "New" button, and the confirmation message pops up and i click yes, but nothing happens...it just goes right back to the main menu like nothing happened...HALP ME PWEEZE!!! Try renaming or deleting the oblivion.ini file (...\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini) Oblivion will then redetect hardware. It will also, probably, not recognize your video card and set everything to medium. bben46 Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 The uninstall dosn't remove everything, and if you reinstall everything at once it may not work like you expect because some things have to be installed before others.
