durham1984
Hello, running into another weird problem :P Every time I go to add a new topic to the Dialogue of my new NPC The CS crashes and I have no clue why. I am sure (99%) sure I am doing everything right. Here are the screenshots Of the exact steps I took: 1)Made a new quest for my NPC's Dialogue: Pic 1 2) Added the generic Greeting Topic to the Topics Tab: Pic 2 3) Go to add New under Topics: Pic 3 4) Darn thing crashes: Pic 4 I have no clue why this would be happening, if you have any ideas please let me know, if you need more info just ask and I will be glad to tell you. Thanks a bunch. EDIT^ I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the CS to no avail :( I have hit a wall
durham1984
I don't bump often, but I want to add that I have now tried a complete fresh install of both Oblivion and the CS. Neither worked and I have also tried just loading the Oblivion.esm with no other mods and the same exact thing happens :( I Am completely stuck
TomBrightblade
Have you tried to save the plugin after step 2? And then going back to the quest to add the topic? What is CS version you are using? (if it's 1.2, try 1.0, and if 1.0, try 1.2) Did you get it from the official site?
Palpenious
Try adding a topic in the editor ID space first, under the generic GREETINGS part. Just to see if the greeting heading is making it go crazy. Add some hello or something you can put in real quick to test. If not try putting the greeting that most NPCs have with all the generic hellos, etc. That's all I can think of, never had a problem with topics in the actual editor, only in-game from forgetting conditions and such. That might be an idea too, try adding your conditions first. You already made an NPC, right?
Pronam
Alas, the person in question isn't coming to the forums for awhile, or maybe forever....
