Balance a sword on its tip in game? WITHOUT USING CONSTRUCTION SET!?

I can :3

it was kinda weird i did it by accident and then i was like OMFGWTFBBQSAUCE and then i punched it and it started spinning like crazy and falling very slowly in a circle and it took like ten seconds for it to spiral to the ground.

anyone interested in knowing how I did this?

I dunno-- I've done it by accident. The game physics get messed up after a lot of play hours, and my current game went through a period where dropped items chose to remain suspended in mid air. It stopped happening for a while, but its on again, now: Dropped a pair of pants that did this lovely drape effect, as though they were carefully laid over the edge of a bed or chair.

yeah well i learned how to do it on purpose. My game isn't having that problem...

If you see a sword press the z button to grab it and try to position it on the tip as best as possible so that it's not moving. Then release the z button and press it really fast then release again and the sword should stop falling. It's funny one time it was like slanted at least 45 degrees.

Did it on 360 with all the stuff in my houses, try taking a welkynd stone and placing it upside down inside a silver bowl. It looks like a fancy lamp! Also, I found the easiest way to balance is to stand it up tilting slightly away from you then walk slowly backwards. You kind of get a feel for when it will stand on it's own, funny it's a lot easier than aligning potions on a shelf.

If anyone cares, the reason they stand and spin that way, I believe, is the collision being set up as a box covering the end of the sword. Although it looks like a point, the actual collision box is flat, though very thin.
