Jord159 Posted November 27, 2013 Share Posted November 27, 2013 If you want to shorten your load order, simply think thoroughly whether the mod improves your gaming experience. For example if you had a mod which turned the horses of skyrim into pretty pink unicorns you would likely remove that since it doesn't add much to your game. Likewise if you had a flora mod that would be a good one to consider removing as it doesn't add much and those types of mod can be quite troublesome in terms of performance.In short anything that you don't really use/notice is probably a good one to remove. Also don't forget that after removing a mod or several mods it is best to start a new game since it may mess with something and worsen your gaming experience or on a worst case scenario it may corrupt you game or your game save.
