Wander or Travel

I have a merchant in a house with five rooms all different cells. I would like him to travel from one cell to the other and then wander around each cell for a couple of hours before moving to the next one.

I can get him to travel to each cell using a travel package or the wander package.

What I can not get him to do is wander around the cell.

Once he walks through the door he just stands on the other side until the next package tells him to do something else.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

First, make sure you have pathgrids setup in each of the cells. If no pathgrids exist, he will not be able to know where to stand.

Second, use wander packages, and specify either a marker or persistent reference that you want them to wander near, and have a radius large enough to fit the area you want them wandering in.

Third, it would not be a bad idea to vary your packages a bit by having some intermediate packages during each wander period where they read books, eat stuff, use an item, or just sit around staring at the wall. NPCs who do nothing but stand there, and occasionally move around a bit tend to be rather boring.

Thank you Vagrant0, It was a marker issue, still not sure what the issue was but deleting the markers and starting over seem to fix the problem.

Was another curious problem though, when deleting four of the five markers the remaining fifth marker became a spawn point for naked characters running around the area of the marker, acted like they had a stay at location script, but I could not find any reference to it and when the marker was deleted the problem disappeared.

I really appreciate the reply.

Thanks
