Problem

Hi i need help i downloaded mods for oblivion and i put them into data folder. Problem is this that i have many of meshes and textures folders i putted files from mods which have this same name in the texture folder or meshes folder and only one mod works? What i have to do? HELP! :wallbash:

you don't add meshes and textures from one mod into the folders of another mod. If thats what you mean just drop the meshes into the proper location,armor,clothing,weapons etc. same with the textures.Also adding mass mods without verifying they work is just asking for problems!

It sounds like you might want to start over.

Hopefully you only have a couple of mods installed.

Open one mod and go through the folders and pay attention

to the folder structure. (If you have not kept the mod zip and cannot do

this you will be more or less up the creek as you have nothing to compare with.

In this case will have to download again.)

Open your Oblivion game folder in another window and tile it alongside

the window with the opened mod.

Look through the Oblivion game folders until you find the files that came from

the mod, and sort them out so they are in a folder of the same name as the files in the mod.

 

Read the Read Me's that come with the mods.

Take your time and be thorough.
