Vexikuri
Morning I was just curious if anyone else has ever had the problem during game play. I remapped my keys to use the arrows to move. Right ctrl to sneak. right shift jumps, right enter casts a spell. My problems is that I have to keep hitting F5 - Quick save or there will be times when I'm able to see the windows cursor show up and the game minimizes down. I'm 99% sure that I don't ever hit the Windows Key, nor do I hit alt + tab. The game does crash from time to time with the normal windows error, I'm also using Wisdoms Earl, but things still happen. Any ideas? Hints? Solutions? Thanks
bben46
First, are you sure you are playing in full screen mode and not windowed mode? Full screen mods is supposed to lock the screen on the game, While windows mode allows you to switch to another program while playing. Then look at what is running in your background, some programs, like IM programs like to steal the focus. They try to stop whatever you are doing to force you to pay attention to them. Such as a popup like "You have a new IM message", or a program that calls home to check for updates and puts a small message in the corner of your screen. "Checking for Updates to XYZ program" There are also viruses and spyware temporarily steal focus to take their screen shots of what you are doing and some do it in a flash that you would normally never notice. There are lots of programs that do things in the background that you are never aware of. And many do not play well with Oblivion.
Vexikuri
Hmmm now I wonder, I thought I was playing in full screen, but I could be mistake. I also have XFire running which does from time to time give the messages that pop up. I'll tried making sure I do a alt+enter to make sure I'm full screen and not windowed and I'll shut Xfire down. Thanks for the ideas.
