Can I use custom .ogg sound files in FO radio mod?

Hi everyone! This is my first time trying to make a mod, and I've run into a bit of trouble. I'm try to add Galaxy News Radio, in all of it's glory, to New Vegas and after a 12 hour battle with it, I finally figured out how to get Three Dog to DJ.

 

The problem is that I seem to need to convert all of the original .ogg sound files into uncompressed .wav files, which are 10x BIGGER. The original .ogg files were only 35MB, and the new .wav files are a whopping 300MB.

 

Is there any way I could use the original .ogg files? So far, I have been met a silent radio every time I have tried.

I was able to halve the file size by using 22050 MHZ 16-bit Mono instead of 44100 MHZ, so I guess that will "half" to do. :laugh:
