HDF1964
HiIm not good at understanding the above mentioned in the title , but WHY is it that if i use the latest version 1.0.2.6967...( native, sandbox core, sandbox, storymode, custombattle ) and i want to mods and they are all dependent on harmony butterlib aso aso i need to install different versions why is it that these mods/ dependcies do not automaticly update to function with the newest version of the game? my Harmony is version 2.2.2.140 ButterLib is v 2.6.1.0 UIExtenderEX v 2.4.0.0 Mod Config menu v 5 .. 5.4.5.0. ) in Vortex load order , thers no warnings all ticked off and seems good I wanted to run Bannerkings bc i love this game and CK3 and i use v 1.2.5.4 tested on bannerlord 1.0.1+ , Banner king assets and open source Armory is v 1.12.0 ( for v 1.0.1 release) in load order i get a yellow warning saying OSA needs v 1.0.1 of storymode, sandbox, sandbox core, native, custombattle but i have v 1.0.2 installed the game doesnt run ofc... in the gamelauncher mods overview it says that BannerKings needs Harmony, ButterLib, UIExtenderEX, Mod config menu v5, native, sandbox, sandboxcore, storymode and custombattle v i.1.1.1.1, instead of the versions i have installed .. it drives me crazyyyy ................. i know alot of you outthere, when you read this will do a collective Facepalm and say holy f.. he is dumb .. and i understand and yes i might be, but im just a dude who would love to play this game :-) so anyhelp in lowkey tech language ,would be a massive help ...i hope
Mephisto1664
Hi, I understand what you mean even now my game is 'broken' because since the update of the 'master' mods (butterlib, Mcmv5...) incompatibility problems occur. I think there is a lack of an incompatibility detection system implemented at the level of these 'master' mods. At least for mod users there should be standards for naming the different versions of mods. For example like this: Mod config menu : 1.0.2.6967.222140.2610.2400.5450 GameVersion.Harmony.Butterlib.UiExtender.McM.ModVersion This could at least make it possible to compare the version numbers and highlight incompatibilities. I speak without really knowing what it is. I'm not a modder, what I'm saying may be nonsense...
