SKUDRUNNER
I used Vortex to Install a mod disabling Fast Travel in my game (specifically Disable Fast Travel SKSE - No Janky Map UI), but later changed my mind and decided to Uninstall through Vortex. However, the issue has remained that I am still unable to fast travel. All locations push the message "Fast Travel is unavailable to this location", as it would if the mod were still installed.ALSO, fast travel does not work on any Saves, not just the one I was using primarily with this mod.The mod above adds the following files to my Data/skse/Plugins folder, but after uninstalling, I confirmed these files are not in the folder anymore.DisableFastTravel.dllDisableFastTravel.iniDisableFastTravel.pdbI'm assuming something has been written into another file and that change was not reverted when I uninstalled the mod. I'm not a modder myself, just my own theory.Does anyone know what I could do fix this? To properly revert whatever changes that mod has made? To re-enable Fast Travel? SKUDRUNNER
This will serve as my only Bump unless I get responses. Thanks in advance.
7531Leonidas
Just a guess, take a look at the .ini file, maybe it shows where the plugin writes to, and can give you a clue as to how to correct the changes. There is also Fallrim Tools (have never used it, so I don't know if it will work for this).
SKUDRUNNER
Just a guess, take a look at the .ini file, maybe it shows where the plugin writes to, and can give you a clue as to how to correct the changes. There is also Fallrim Tools (have never used it, so I don't know if it will work for this).Hey, thanks for the response. I went into the .ini for the mod and didn't see any lines where it was writing somewhere else. But I did find two numerical toggles in the mod's ini. So I decided to reinstall the mod, disable the toggles in the ini, and run Skyrim. Unfortunately, Fast Travel was still busted. Yet a friend suggested I use the command "EnableFastTravel 1", as they said it worked in Fallout: NV and hoped it would work in Skyrim.Well, it kinda worked in my case.I can use it to turn fast travel back on, but it seems to be a one-time use, between loading screens. Everytime the game reloads, it stops working again.Which means something is still causing that specific line to disable upon every reload. This is likely something corrupted in my game now, and I'll have to reinstall to fix it. For the moment, I don't recommend installing any fast-travel disablers, until there's a proper way to uninstall. Edit: Forgot to attach screenshot of the .ini and its toggles. I assume these are just commands the mod itself implements and would be inconsequential if the mod were removed.
