DylanF1
Hello, I was trying to get a gun into the game and I started creating a new weapon in GECK and when it came time to find the model, I clicked on it and it just appeared as a red triangle with an exclamation mark. What can I do to fix this?
dangman4ever
You have to point the GECK to where the gun .nif model is located on your hard drive.
DylanF1
I have done that, but it still shows up as a red triangle with an exclamation point
dangman4ever
In the game or the GECK? Are you absolutely sure you've pointed it to the right mesh? The mesh is located in the Data/meshes folder right? Edited November 29, 2013 by dangman4ever
DylanF1
In the GECK, I got a 3d model and I made it into a .nif file and it works in nifskope, and the textures work and everything, but in GECK in just shows up as a red triangle with an exclamation point. and I am sure that i pointed it to the right mesh. I have put it into the Data/meshes folder, but it still shows up as a red triangle with an exclamation point.
dangman4ever
Try it in-game and see what happens. Â Are you sure that you exported that 3D model with the right settings for a .nif file for Fallout New Vegas?
DylanF1
I'm not exactly sure that I did export it right. I put it into 3ds max when it was a .max file and exported it as a .3ds file, and imported it into nifskope, and the textures worked and everything and then I saved it as a .nif
