jemiari
I've been trying out other people's characters with the Import Face function in Wrye Bash to some really unsuccessful results. The characters end up looking nothing like how they look in screenshots, and this isn't a mere facial texture issue. Facial symmetry is way off, to the point of deformity. I've tested this further by loading the saved games directly and gotten the same result, so this isn't a problem with Wrye Bash but something on a larger scale. What can I do to remedy it? Luminiari
It could be a simple case of the wrong head mesh... There's the vanilla head mesh, then custom made ones, like Ren's, idkrrr's Corean, Saram and Sulhwa, and Head06. May I ask which character you're trying to import, what race that character is, and what race you're using?
jemiari
It's definitely not an issue with the head mesh. I hoped it was as simple as that so I checked. I'm trying to import Imperial faces using the default Imperial head mesh. No changes to the default Imperial head mesh - I looked into the meshes/characters/imperal folder to make sure. EDIT: I tried it with other races, including custom ones, and the results were even worse... EDIT2: On a related note, I have tried to import celebrity faces with the tools and tutorial here, to horrendous results too.
