mbruno
I noticed something weird in the Cheydinhal chapel. I'm the Nine Devines faction since I've done the KOTN, but for some reason when you go to the doors to the Undercroft the little door icons are still red, even though they should be white, however when I enter the Undercroft it doesn't seem to be treated as tresspassing as I talked to the guard in there and didn't get in trouble. Also, the icon for the door to the chapel hall, the icon is white as it should be since I'm part of the Nine Devines faction. Oh yeah, one other thing, with the Undercroft doors, one was locked and one was unlocked, although in other chapels they are both unlocked. williamren
It's a part of a thieves guild quest, maybe it's because of that?
mbruno
Ok, I've found something. For the door to the chapel hall and the doors leading outside, the owner is set as 223bc, however for the doors to the undercroft the ownership is set as 534f2. I know about the setownership command, but I have to wonder why it's like that. BTW, to find this out I used the tfh command, thenclicked on the door while in the console. AzirAphale001
I'm with williamren. It's probable because it's involved in a Thieves Guild quest.
mbruno
I'm with williamren. It's probable because it's involved in a Thieves Guild quest. I've completed the Thieves Guild questline, though, if that makes any difference.
Oruboris
Probably just a glitch, and not one that seems to affect gameplay. Did you play Morrowind? A much larger, more diverse game world, so big that this sort of 'oops' was fairly common. Rare in the smaller but detailed Oblivion space, but these things happen. Vadilou
If I remember correctly if you talk to the Prophet before entering the chapel then the doors icons doesn't show red.
