Total conversion

This is my first post in the forums so if I placed this in the wrong topic. I apologize, I though it would be best to place it here as I am talking about a (very unlikely) mod without suggesting any way how to make it.

 

I know that some people might call me mad but I wonder if one day someone is going to get a group of modders together and create a total conversion mod for fallout 3. I am not sure how the GECK works or if it is possible to create a total conversion from it but after I saw Dap642 videos on youtube with him playing fallout 1 and 2 (plus his low intellagence runs). I though "Will, one day, some people decide to recreate fallout 3 from the ground up and make it more like the prevous fallouts. What I was thinking was this:

 

1. Create a whole new script for the MQ (although voices will have to go, this is an acceptable casualty) to make the story more coherent

 

2. Reduce the amount of raiders and make them more 'realistic' (I always thought they went over the top with raiders). Have the NPC's say they are actually several gangs of raiders, also mentioning some sort of hierarchy and the option to do jobs between gangs of raders.

 

3. I felt that the super-mutants were down-played in the game. I think it would be better if they made it that people mention that the DC area was actually recovering before the super mutants attacked. This would involve replacing the ruins of 200 year old houses with ruins of more recent farms and buildings.

 

4. Include a low intelligence dialogues and options.

 

That's all I have time for mentioning. I suppose this will never happen but.... we can dream :P
