Has anyone tested any of the lighting mods with Ray Tracing? Shadow pop in question.

Seems counter intuitive to insert a lighting mod into this game if you plan to use RT. However, one of the issues I have with the next gen release, is that the shadow pop in wooded areas is awful.

 

Now my question maybe the wrong one. Is the shadow pop in caused by lighting and shadow draw distance or are the trees themselves being rerendered cause the shadows to change. Its hard to tell.

All I can say, RT on in the woods sucks currently. I haven't installed any lighting mods since updating to next gen. Mainly, I want to see the CDPR's work before going too deep in modding the game.

 

Just curious if anyone has tried any lighting and or draw distance mods and wondering if those mods have an influence on shadow pop in.
