"Bah, I am no prisoner, and I will never be, espesially not a prisoner of elves", Davanír muttered. "Hurry up back there", Ethillen shouted in front. The party had now reached the edge of the forrest, and you could clearly see the storm blowing inside it. "I must warn you all", Ethillen said and turned around, "If you hear any strange sound or see anything strange at all, follow the path and do not stop untill you get out of the forrest", he said. Davanír looked surprised. "What path? All I see are trees and bushes", he said.

The young lady, Lagána, whispered a few words and waved her hand at the forrest, in which a trail appeared, glwoing softly from the earth itself. "There's your trail", she said and smiled. The whole party moved into the forrest, and the storm immediately catched them, almost blowing their capes away. "I did not see this coming..", Davanír muttered. It all went perfectly for about an hour before anything happened.

The two elves who had left them earlier on, Vethol and Nathél, came hurrying after them in a gallop, obviously very eager to catch up. Vethol's cape was gone and he was bleeding across his arm where his shirt was torn to pieces. "They're right behind us, we almost got caught", Nathél shouted in elfish. "Damn it, I knew we shouldn't have gone this way", Ethillen said and cursed his own thoughtlessness.

"Hurry", he shouted to the travellers behind him and hurried his horse through the forrest. As everyone else did the same, strange sounds from behind them caught their attention. It sounded like trees crashing down and being thrown around combined with the stomps of several heavy feet.

Traxis growled: "What fun! I think we're about to have a party and I'm not dressed for it. I once spent time in a circus when having to deal with a very tricky contract. The mark was sooo well protected. But he did like to watch animals being made to perform. I did a stint as a bare-back rider to reach him. Just as well."

He performs a few unusual contortions to get into his blacks while not falling off the swiftly galloping mount.

Grinning grimly at Traxis's contortions, Erunanion attempted to get his arrow bag into a place where he could easily get at them whilst galloping. He urging his horse closer to Ethillen's, and shouted over the noise, "What is it that pursues us? Are they related to those orbs of light?" He looked around in his saddle, looked for the cause of the sounds.

"I'm sure you don't want to know, but it's a.." Ethillen started before being interrupted by a huge crashing sound and two trees behindthem being thrown away, flying almost a hundred feet away. Trolls. Two big gray trolls were following the party with a huge wooden club in every hand, destroying half the forrest. "I'm running from two simple trolls?", Davanír shouted and made an effort to turn around, almost falling of the horse in the process.

Venith turned around, throwing an arrow on his bow and taking quick aim before shooting it into one of the trolls."Keep moving!", he shouted and loaded another arrow on his bow along with the other elves, sending them towards the closest troll without any noteable effect. The party hurried on through the forrest with the two monsters close behind.

"Right, you elves," Traxis shouts, "I'll stay on the horse if you are sure we can out run the Trolls but if not it's time we took a different approach. I'll follow your advice."

He turns to Davanír and Erunanion, "Unless you two have a better idea."

I say we split up - two groups. We'll take one of you," he flicked a wrist at the elves, "and seperate, lose or take care of the trolls, and meet at this city of yours."

Slowing his horse, he turned in the saddle and awkwardly drew an arrow back on the large bow and loosed it at the nearest troll. Not bothering to watch its effect, he turned around and urged the horse to catch up with the group.

Erunanion's arrow ended up in the trolls arm, quickly followed by another one from Ethillen's bow. "Stay on the trail!", Ethillen shouted and rode off the trail into the forrest along with Ventih and his two brothers, drawing the attention of one of the trolls by raining arrows upon it. "Split up, but don't loose sight of the trail!", Lagána shouted and swung herself onto a big barnch in a nearby tree with a quick manouver. As he heard her words, Davanír quickly jumped off the horse, landing in a nearby bush.

Pulling out his axe, he charged at the troll with a terrible battle cry, almost cutting it's foot off with his axe. The huge beast turned around, crying out in pain, and swinged it's wooden club at the dwarf, missing his head by a few inches. Lagána let go off another arrow with pierced the troll's head, enraging it even more. The monsters bashed her tree with it's club, sending her falling to the ground.

Erunanion dropped from the horse's back and took the vial from Traxis. Following his advice wordlessly, he dipped the arrowhead in the vial. Withdrawing it carefully, he ocked the arrow and took careful aim at the troll's face. When he was sure of his aim, he loosed, following the poisoned arrow with two more normal ones in quick succession.

He dipped another arrow and nocked it, but held his fire.
