Yes, I've been off for about a week now. I've only got four exams left, and then I'm finished! Whoop...!

Good luck with the exams.

Now I have left school and now I only have to go in to school for exams!

This has made my day!

Anyone else on Exam Leave now?

So I have basically left school!!!!!

A small request, please, do every school aged member of these forums a favour by posting the results of your examinations.

Last day of college was today for me as well. In fact, the last day of lessons was yesterday, but there was an upper sixth leavers ceremony thing this morning which everyone had to go to. Then pretty much the entire college spent the rest of the day in the pub down the road (teachers included lol), so it was a pretty good day :P

And I probably will post the results of my A-levels here, if I happen to wander across a thread about it (and assuming I dont do really, embarrasingly badly :P). Results dont come till mid-august though, possibly the 14th, although I hope not, as thats the day before my birthday:P

Yeah I will post my results, the good ones anyways :P

I still got the exams to do though.

I just need my five C grades with two of them being Maths and English to get in to my college course!

The point that I tried to imply in my post was perhaps too surreptitious...

You're taking a big risk by holding the view that since you're on exam leave you have left school. You should not have such a complacent attitude. Your GCSE's are the most important exams you will probably ever take. A university with even a mediocre reputation will use GCSE's to filter out the majority of applicants. Even if you were to do well at A Level - there would be no guarantee that you would get into a good university - as A Levels are far too facile. GCSE's are more exhibitive of a good candidate. Regardless of the fact of whether you decide to continue your education or join the workforce, it would be incredibly helpful that you have good grades from which you can support your future decisions on. If I were you I would be more anxious at what is potentially at stake.
