Removing Ghoul Power Atack

One thing about ghouls that realy bothers me is that they are so fast and can leap huge distances with thier power atacks. I'd rather have them slow and tough so i can kill them from a distance. Now i'm wondering if there is an easy way to remove the power atacks and change the stats of all the ghouls in the game, it would take to much time to just edit all of them.

Thanks in advance, Zynoq

Ghouls combat style is in CSGhoulFeral & CSGhoulGlowingOne.

Open it in GECK, go to advanced tab ... and have fun :)

You have your information. Now please, enlighten me, why do you want them slow and tough? You already have Overlords slow and tough.

Ghouls are supposed to be slow, indeed, but they are hunting for you (read: food) in that moment. Are mobilising all the energy to take down the prey like any other predator.

I'm not sure whether you can remove their power attacks, but you can easily lower their speed multiplier to make them move and leap and attack more slowly. You could also reduce their attack skills and percentage chance to hit. If you really want the ghoulies to be all girlie men, then lower their health too.

All can be done from their object edit window. Most feral ghouls are not unique, only the rational ones. Shouldn't be too hard to make large scale changes to them.

I kinda want them to be like thoose clasic zombies you see in other games and movies, i'd rather fight a slow tough horde of ghouls than just one really fast anyoying.

That's about it, thanks for your help.

I had a bug that turned them slow... Don't remember what was though xD It really depends on your definition of zombie. Take a look for instance, at "Left4Dead" zombies, or the ones from the movie "28 Days Later". Those zombies are more of a challenge :P

The only thing that bug's me about the ghouls is that screach or scream they make when the sense your presense, I wish they where mutes at times!.. :ermm:

the noises they make are sound files, you can disable them in geck just find the sound that they make, then edit it, and point it towards nothing. Then it will be silent :)
