What to do if a specific mod is preventing SKSE loader from launching Skyrim

I have a specific mod that I know is preventing Skyrim from launching. I'm not even getting a Skyrim program window on my taskbar. Simply nothing happens when I try to run Skyrim from Vortex. There's no Papyrus log from the attempts either.

My question is where should I start with troubleshooting this? Is there a specific log that might give a clue as to why Skyrim won't load?

The mod I'm trying to get to work is Sexlabs framework for Skyrim VR. The specific mods are: SexLabFrameworkSE_v163, SL VRpatch Beta8 38, SL VRpatch hotfix for v38, and SexLab Tools v3. Here's a screenshot of my load order:

First, this is the Skyrim LE site. Better post this at the Skyrim SE site. Probably there could be more VR users.

 

Second, I am not a VR user, but I wonder how you get SKSE in your loadorder. As far as I know it don't need to be there. You need to install SKSE VR manually in your game folder, where your .exe is.
